Terms of Service

For the hosted Correctover evidence control plane. Last updated 7 November 2026.

These terms govern your use of the hosted service at correctover.com. They are written to be read: what you pay for, what you may not do with it, and where the limits of our responsibility sit. If you need negotiated terms — private deployment, customer-managed keys, OEM embedding, an SLA — that is the Business track and it runs on a separate signed agreement.

1. The service

Correctover provides a hosted control plane for agent evidence: an API to submit receipts describing tool-call decisions, storage and retrieval of those receipts, usage accounting against a monthly quota, and access to verification tooling. The service is offered on subscription plans with defined monthly receipt volumes.

2. Accounts and workspaces

A workspace is created against the email address you supply at checkout. That address is the account identity: it is where support, rotation and deletion requests must come from. Keep it current. You are responsible for activity performed with API keys issued to your workspace.

3. Subscription, billing and renewal

4. Quotas and fair use

Each plan carries a monthly receipt volume and a request-rate expectation appropriate to interactive agent workloads. If your usage materially exceeds your plan's volume, writes are rejected with a quota error rather than billed silently. Sustained automated load that degrades the service for other tenants may be throttled, and we will tell you before applying a hard limit where the circumstances allow.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

Security testing against your own workspace with your own key is fine. Testing against infrastructure shared with other tenants is not; report suspected weaknesses instead.

6. API keys

Keys are issued once, bound to the workspace, and shown a single time. Store them in a secret manager. If a key is exposed, request rotation from the account address; rotation invalidates the previous key. We cannot recover a lost key — only rotate it.

7. Your data

You keep all rights to the receipt payloads you submit. You grant us the licence needed to store, process and return them so the service can function. Handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Notice. Deletion of a workspace deletes its receipts.

8. Our intellectual property

The service, its implementation, and the Correctover name and marks remain ours. Published standards material, schemas and the public verifier are made available under the licences stated in their own repositories; those licences govern them, not these terms.

9. Availability

We work to keep the service available and to announce maintenance that affects writes. Subscription plans do not carry a contractual uptime commitment. A service-level commitment, if you need one, is part of a Business agreement.

10. Warranty and limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Receipts are records of what your system reported; they are not a legal opinion, an audit opinion, or a certification, and they do not by themselves establish regulatory compliance.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data beyond what retention in your plan provides.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend a workspace that is used to attack the service, to store prohibited content, or that remains unpaid after notice. Either party may terminate by cancelling the subscription. On termination, receipts are deleted according to the retention described in the Privacy Notice. Sections on payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits and governing law survive termination.

12. Changes to these terms

Material changes are published on this page and, for active workspaces, announced by email before they take effect. Continuing the subscription after the effective date accepts the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are brought before the courts at the operator's place of business. Where mandatory consumer protection law in your own jurisdiction gives you stronger rights, those rights are unaffected.
